Yerevan just turned 2799. I take my camera, all my senses I can gather, and head out the door to see, to hear and to feel. Is it really old or new? I take a stroll with no agenda to be anywhere but here and now and to take in all this city can offer.
First stop is the Opera House and the Freedom Square right in the heart of the city. “Sport Yerevan” street workouts and performances are on. All I can see now is how young my Yerevan is.
Looks like the fencing club is more popular among girls. Armenian female chivalry anyone?

My night is over and I head home with sweet pain in my feet. Yerevan is beautiful and just as beautiful are its people - creative, young and zealous. In this diversity of young scientists, musicians, dancers and fighters, pilots and dreamers is my Yerevan turning 2799 Years Young. Happy birthday, my love.
